When you think of the luxury spa massages, you are thinking of a Swedish massage. This style combines long, gliding strokes with relaxation techniques to achieve maximum relaxation. Possible benefits include reduction of stress levels, improved circulation, and pain relief. This is perfect for when we are under stress, for energetic/bodywork maintenance, and to help gain bodily self awareness.

What does it really mean to go deep? “Deep” to me, is a targeted release of the tension in fascia and muscle. This is done using specific techniques like neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release. These methods zero in on these hyper irritable, sore, painful areas, & help you to find relief.

Our fascial network is a layer of connective tissue that can be found covering every single muscle, tendon, and ligament. It allows for communication and connection between all structures of the body. When this 3D, spiderweb like tissue gets moved out of position, our muscles and bones are pulled with it. Myofascial therapy addresses this by using pressure and heat to engage the fascia and slowly encourage the tissue back to its anatomical positioning. This is a gentle yet deep form of massage theapy.

This ancient form of healing has been rediscovered and formed into a practice we could easily grasp to promote wellness. This is a laying of hands that is done with focus to chakra centers. Energy is transferred into these centers to aid in balance and restoration of homeostasis. This is a relaxing balancing technique that helps create clarity and alignment.
